STYLE AND APPROACH
“What’s your style?”. I usually get this question asked towards the end of a coffee or right at the start.
Cheerful, approachable, spontaneous. That would be my answer in 3 simple words. I am not of the opinion that my work falls under a particular label but you can be sure that my approach summed up in those 3 words will be a constant at every wedding I document.
“Just to let you know, we are not really great in front of the camera”
“We don’t do well with photos.”
“We prefer our photographer to have a candid approach to our day”.
These are statements I hear atleast 80% of the time and that’s totally understandable! I am an awkward mash of nervousness in front of a camera myself – it’s no easy feat. Hence with my all day coverage packages, I am able to work in the background efficiently yet invisibly without the confines of a timed package. All you’ll hear from me at times is “Hey guys, I think the light’s awesome at this spot, let’s get a few shots here”. Works?
